Maple Macadamia Butter Ingredients
- 1 cup raw macadamia nuts
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
Allspice Cherry Compote Ingredients
- 2 cups cherries, pitted
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp allspice
- 2/3 cup orange juice
This S’more is so just lovely. All you need is a simple two ingredient Macadamia butter and a super easy spiced cherry compote to accompany the toasted Dandies Marshmallows on Nabisco’s original graham crackers. Here’s how to make the compote and the butter:
Maple Macadamia Butter Instructions
In a dry pan turned on medium heat, toast macadamia nuts for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat, add to a food processor along with the maple syrup. Blend until completely smooth. Scrape down the sides of the processor as needed.
Allspice Cherry Compote Instructions
Bring sugar, allspice and orange juice to a boil. Once the sugar is dissolved, add cherries. Cook for 2–3 minutes. Using a slotted spoon scoop out cherries and put into a bowl and set aside. Let remaining liquid simmer for another 15 minutes until thick syrup has formed. Pour syrup into the bowl of cherries.
